TREC requires that all active brokers and sales agents are required to take 4 hours in Legal Update I and 4 hours in Legal Update II prior to license renewal every two years. These courses provide information concerning recent updates and changes to laws, regulations, legal definitions, ethics of practice, and forms as they apply to real estate in Texas.

Cliff is a commercial leasing practitioner since 1979 of the Dallas, Houston and Austin Markets. He has been an MCE course writer and instructor. Cliff is now also a CCIM instructor teaching a CI 101 (Financial Analysis), CI 103 (User Decision Analysis) and CI Intro.
